1. Rights and Responsibilities of the Owner

1.1.  

The dog must be retrievable.

 

1.2.

The dog must know obedience, as well as being able to be home alone for a few hours, as the pick-up & bring-Times can vary.

1.3.

Information requirement towards Smiling Dogs.
It’s mandatory to give truthful and accurate information with regards to the character and state of health of the animal. Otherwise, any sort of liability will be refused.

1.4.

The dog must be healthy. That means e.g. not suffering from any contagious diseases. Also, it is mandatory to deworm the animal twice a year.

 

1.5.        

The animal has to be registered at Amicus (Dog Chip).

1.6.

The dog must be insured through a personal liability insurance by the owner.

1.6.1.

The owner is liable for any harm/damage on objects, humans or other dogs/animals caused by their dog. In case of injuries of the dog by the dog's own fault, the owner has to cover all of the resulting costs. In case of the owner's withholding or ignorance of any allergy/disease, the owner is always liable. Smiling Dogs refuses any liability.

2. Rights and Responsibilites of Smiling Dogs

2.1.

Before a dog is admitted, a test walk with the dog at which the owner will be present is mandatory.

2.2.        

All dogs will be taken care of properly and with appropriate care to the characteristics of their species. In order to simplify the pick-up and home-bringing of your dog, we have to have access to your house/office to pick up and bring your dog as scheduled, as the exact times can vary.

2.3.

Smiling Dogs will always inform the dog owner in case of bigger incidents. In case of any emergency or accident, the owner will be informed immediately and further procedure will be discussed.

In case the owner cannot be reached, the dog sitter will immediately look for a veterinary. The owner will cover all resulting costs.

 

2.4.

Smiling Dogs has Business Liability Insurance.

3. General Terms and Conditions

​

3.1.

Fees for dog care for which no cancellation has been received in time (24h before beginning of the care), will be charged normally.

3.2.

Smiling Dogs retains the right to refuse care for a dog due to his aggressive and/or socially not compatible behavior.

​

3.3.
GPS-Trackers are generally not permitted, unless there is a serious problem, which makes the use of one reasonable. 
At the same time it will be mandatory to take private coachings at least 1x week with Smiling Dogs in order to solve the issue as soon as possible.

​

3.4.

The owner has read and accepted the Terms & Conditions of Smiling Dogs and agrees to the procedures as described under the heading Services above.

3.5.

For one-off customers, payment will be accepted in cash on the day of the dog care.

For regular and returning customers, the monthly bill can be paid in cash or by bank transfer.
